New ‘Loki’ trailer teases Owen Wilson, time-journey

It is about time.

Disney+ has unveiled a new trailer for its “Loki” series starring Tom Hiddleston, 40, and it showcases the MCU’s snarkiest player on a time-bending wild experience.

As the trailer demonstrates, it all ties back to the fist “Avengers,” when Loki was a far more simple villain. The Tesseract machine from that motion picture made numerous different realities and timelines. The “Loki” trailer demonstrates our key male (Hiddleston) taken into the headquarters of a mysterious bureaucratic organization identified as the Time Variance Authority, or “the Timekeepers.”

There, he’s introduced before a mustached Owen Wilson, 52, co-starring as Mobius, who is effective for the group.

“We defend the good movement of time,” he points out to Loki. “You picked up the Tesseract, breaking actuality. I want you to aid us fix it.”

When Loki — understandably — asks, “why me?” Mobius tells him, “I need to have your exclusive Loki point of view.”

The tone of the show is an action-thriller with some time-bending and comedic things, like Loki’s signature just one-liners, (“It is lovely that you consider you could potentially manipulate me,” he states at one particular position).

Gugu Mbatha-Raw (ideal-identified for the “Black Mirror” tearjerker episode “San Junipero”) also co-stars as a member of the Time Variance Authority. Chris Hemsworth’s Thor is not proven in the trailer, and there’s no phrase nevertheless on whether or not he may possibly make an overall look in his brother’s display.

The collection will be six episodes, and a second time is now in growth. It’s the MCU’s 3rd present, following the insanely common “WandaVision” and “The Falcon and the Winter season Soldier.” 

“Loki” will premiere on Disney+ June 11.
